For safety management and to comply with anti-Covid regulations, participation in the two events will be limited (the organizing committee has set a maximum number of 350 athletes for the Livigno Skymarathon and 200 athletes for the Livigno Sky Trail).
So, after last year's forced stop, the Skyrunning World Series circuit is ready to start again with the Livigno Skymarathon, a super classic design on the border peaks between Italy and Switzerland. "It will certainly be a particular edition, different from the others because the tail of this pandemic requires measures and limitations that we don't want to avoid in order to protect everyone's health", said Luca Moretti, president of Apt Livigno. "There won't be those aggregative activities that have always characterized the event and that for this edition we will have to do without. But the route, the landscapes, the passages in altitude and the ridges remain unchanged and are what we will not make you miss this year either".
